The units to draw are the same whichever syringe barrel you pick โ a U-100 unit is always 0.01 mL. Smaller barrels just have finer markings, which makes small doses easier to measure accurately.
Worked example. 5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC water = 2.5 mg/mL. A 250 mcg (0.25 mg) dose needs 0.25 รท 2.5 = 0.1 mL = 10 units, and the vial holds 20 doses.

No. All U-100 syringes use the same unit โ 0.01 mL โ so 10 units is 10 units on any barrel. A 0.3 mL syringe just has bigger, finer markings that make small doses easier to read.
No โ it only dilutes the concentration. The same mg dose just becomes a larger volume (more units) to draw. More water can make small doses easier to measure.
