Our accessibility approach
- We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
- Core navigation and tools are designed for keyboard use.
- Pages use headings, labels, landmarks, alternative text, and visible focus indicators.
- Motion is reduced when your device requests reduced motion.
Accessibility features
The site includes a skip-to-content link, descriptive page titles, labeled navigation, keyboard-visible focus states, responsive layouts, text alternatives for meaningful images, and status announcements for interactive results where applicable. Embedded videos are identified with their original creators and link to the original YouTube source, where caption availability is controlled by the publisher.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We review new pages and tools for keyboard access, readable structure, labels, contrast, zoom behavior, and reduced-motion preferences. We will continue correcting barriers as they are found.
Known limitations
Some third-party videos, podcasts, social platforms, and linked research websites are outside PepConnection’s control and may not provide the same accessibility features. Some complex scientific terminology may also be difficult to simplify without changing its meaning.
